Climate Change Readiness study 2023
In 2023, we did not conduct a traditional focused reporting benchmarking study. Instead, we focussed on a dedicated study on TCFD reporting, especially in light of the upcoming regulatory obligations on climate reporting. Together with Implement Consulting Group, we analysed 100 of the largest listed Swiss companies, including banks and insurance companies. We presented the results for the first time at the Forum รถ 2023 and they are now available in an official report.
Focus of the study:
The study focussed on the sustainability reporting of the top 100 Swiss companies from various sectors, including industry, banks and insurance companies. We assessed their reports against the TCFD criteria and integrated additional aspects from current corporate practices. Given the increased awareness of biodiversity loss, we also included five criteria from the TNFD framework.
The focus was on comprehensively assessing climate change preparedness, particularly in terms of transparency and accountability.

The report provides insights into the climate change reporting of the largest Swiss companies and also offers an insight into how these companies are responding to the challenges and opportunities of climate change. It also presents current best practices.
